Route from  Ushuaia to Lima , 2916 miles

1/12
DESCRIPTION:

Chose you destination and your sailing weeks during the months of  January to April 2022.

This is an expedition where the elements rule, so weather and wind conditions will determine our final schedule. Safety is paramount and the captain will decide the sailing itinerary during the voyage.

One thing is certain; nature is at its most beautiful in Patagonia. When the sun is shining and the temperature is higher than the usual 10°C, the grey and rainy days are easily forgotten. However, only masochists sail north in Chilean Patagonia, against the current and the prevailing winds, or so we had been told...

A maze of fjords with wild, wind-worn isles, abundant marine life and glaciers that tumble into the Pacific, the singular landscape of Chilean Patagonia is often best admired from the deck of a boat.

The South American continent crumbles into numerous islands scattered from the Andean peaks that fortress the mainland.

On a sunny summer day, it’s hard to beat the beauty of the Ruta Bimodal, which sails a narrow corridor between islands and verdant peaks along the coast.  The extraordinary Parque Pumalínis the crown jewel on this route, with trails to waterfalls, Valdivian rain forest and the smoking crater of Volcan Chaitén. For a hands-on aquatic adventure, explore coastal Pumalín via a sea kayaking tour (kokayak.cl) through the fjords, stopping in at isolated natural hot springs and sea lion colonies.

The itinerary to include also Antofagasta, Chile The Northern Pearl known as one of the oldest and prettiest cities in northern Chile, Antofagasta is nicknamed,  “The Pearl of the North”. It is a city of remarkable contrasts, where you can experience the driest desert and the bluest sea.

Puerto General San Martin, Peru The Mysterious Nazca Lines .

Puerto General San Martin is the gateway to the famous and mysterious Nazca Lines and geoglyphs. These lines were etched into the ground between 500 B.C. and 500 A.D., and are considered among archaeology's greatest enigmas because of their quantity, nature, size and continuity. The geoglyphs are several kilometres long and illustrate living creatures, stylized plants and imaginary beings, as well as geometric figures. Join this excursion to truly experience these marvellous creations of the ancient world.
